Which one of these laptops should i get?

This question depends on what you wish to do with the computer? The HP is the more powerful of the two, but it does not come with Wireless built in,but this is not a problem if you purchase a wireless usb or pcmia card. The HP has a bigger battery, better video card, but less hard drive space. You can purchase hard drives rather cheap so it depends on how much work you wish to invest into the laptop yourself... If you are wanting this laptop to be a travel computer you might wish to look into a smaller size, 17-inch laptops are not the lightest to travel with, otherwise it is your decision to make. I would check on the warranty of the HP, the samsung has 1 year limited, if the HP delivers the same then I would probably pick it because I use laptops for more of a gaming and mobile video and picture editing...
