What is a good clic car that you could modify?

I prefer American muscle cars to Jap cars and please don't suggest any Hondas.Please give me a few ideas on what sort of a car I could buy and modify.Willing to spend around 30000$ on a car.My thoughts were on a old Camaro or a Skyline or Supra.
